Thank you Muriel for your unwaivering support and dedication of service to the people of North Tyneside, in particular the residents in the Weetslade Ward during & after the miners strike. Sheila Farquharson, Susan Dennington, Jim McDonald, Jarick Kopec, Pete Stringer the Staff team of Killingworth & District Citizens Advice Bureau 1984 - 1987.

It was a privilege to have known you Muriel, a privilege to have worked alongside you, right back in the early ‘80’s at Killingworth Citizens Advice Bureau, campaigning for better rights for the people of North Tyneside. I shall never forget your work & political ethic, but more importantly your strength of character and genuine woman. Thank you 🙏 . Susan Dennington
